Constructed and thought by the Corsican actor
Pierre Massimi

The famous Corsican actor Pierre Massimi was born in Calenzana on July 28, 1935 and died in 2013 in Bastia, at the age of 78. He stopped his engineering career, for film and theater. It was at this time that he attended the Cours Simon in Paris. He is best known for playing the role of customs officer Berg in the series "Belle et Sébastien" as well as the role of Serge de Bachenberg in the film "The Triumph of Michel STRGOFF". He has trodden the stage boards, the sets of movies, TV shows and French series. In the 1990s, he stopped his career to return to Corsica. One can easily imagine that he loved to come and recharge in this splendid building, ideally located in Corbara, between the sea and nature.

A Corsican residence Authentic construction

Pierre Massimi built, designed and designed this house more than 30 years ago. This charming guest house was built on an old market garden plot, all in terraces and on a slope. The Corsican spirit is omnipresent in this residence of character. This is why we wanted to keep the old gardener's house, which is currently the guest lounge.
